Hari Om first started practising yoga as a child in the 1970s with her mother. She has been teaching yoga full time since 1998. Over the years she has taught in adult education, schools and gyms as well as private classes.

Hari Om trained to teach yoga with the British Wheel of Yoga; her diploma tutor was Sara Delamore. After having 2 children she completed the British Wheel of Yoga Pregnancy Module taught by Wendy Teasdill.

She is committed to helping people make yoga part of their daily lives. She is very grateful to all her teachers, including Carol Southern, Swami Pragyamurti, Swami Vedantananda and Swami Satyaprakash. In 2007 Hari Om completed a further teacher training course in Satyananda Yoga. In 2008 Hari Om trained with Francoise Freedman to teach Postnatal yoga.
